Club Reviews

"The craic and the history at Cúchulainns is second to none - and one of the few London clubs to boast both a Hurling and Football team. With many past and recent successes including the London Intermediate Football League Champions of 2003 we're confident of even greater success in the future!"

Eddie Naughton
Chairman

"We've been in existence since 1932, one of the longest running clubs in London GAA history and we're immensely proud of that tradition and aim to carry on the successes of the teams that have gone before us. SE London GAA is alive and well and living at Cúchulainns!"

PICKUP POINTS AND CONTACTS

PICKUP POINT

We pick players up to take them to training and to games from The Marquis of Granby Pub in Newcross, South East London. If you need to be picked up elsewhere just contact one of our Club Officers by calling one of their numbers from the Contact Us page.

HOW TO FIND THE TRAINING GROUND

BY ROAD

Coming from north of the River Thames:
Travel through the Blackwall Tunnel, take the third or fourth exit marked 'local traffic' after the Greenwich, Woolwich and Charlton turn-offs. (If you end up near the Sun In The Sands pub, you have come off one exit too early, continue round the roundabout and back on to the motorway and take the next exit). Turn left at Rochester Way at the top of the slip road and Broad Walk is first on the left. Four humps up Broad Walk . . . and we are there on the right.

Coming from Kent:
Travel along the A2 and then pick up the old Rochester Way at the Falconwood Cemetery turn-off. Continue over the Well Hall roundabout and Broad Walk is a mile down on the right opposite Nelson Mandela Road.

Coming from South London:
You need to find Kidbrooke Park Road, which is at the end of the A20 or a turning off the Blackheath to Shooters Hill road. Pick up the Rochester Way and Broad Walk is 300m yards down on the left.

BY BUS

The 286 service:
From Greenwich and Blackheath or from Eltham High Street, stops in Rochester Way near the foot of Broad Walk.

BY TRAIN

British Rail mainline (Connex South East):
Trains leave from Charing Cross, Waterloo East, London Bridge and Cannon Street. Take the Dartford train via Bexleyheath and alight at Kidbrooke Station, where there is a minicab facility for all forwards. From Dartford, take the Bexleyheath line to Kidbrooke.
